Hair of the Dog Barber & Pub Inc. Temporary business changes, to ensure we are protecting our staff and customers, and working within regulatory best practices.
Our primary commitment, is to provide a safe environment for our barbers, customers and community. Taking into account social distancing measures, PPE, changes to services and increased cleaning and sanitization, to allow us to safely operate. We will be implementing changes to operations, shop hours and services in the interim which we have highlighted below.
Social Distancing/Shop Occupancy/Shop Hours:
As we reopen we will be limiting the shop to a maximum of 3 barbers per day, to allow for a safe distance between work stations, for both customers and barbers. Due to our reducing shop occupancy to accommodate social distancing, we will only accept children's bookings if they are able to come with 1 accompanying parent. We’ve based this decision on the reasoning that we can not allow unaccompanied minors on premise, as customers are required to arrive alone for their appointment. Our business hours will change to the following:
Monday to Friday 10am-6pm
Pre-screening yourself is essential to our operations, for both customers and barbers. If you have any symptoms or illness, please do not book an appointment, and reschedule as applicable, as we do not want to risk further shut downs. We will also be making assessments on your arrival, and will hold the right to turn you away if we deem you are showing any symptoms of COVID-19 and/or other flu/cold bugs.
Barbers will have access to face masks, gloves and disposable aprons to use while providing services, as well as, the time to thoroughly clean and sanitize tools and work areas between customers. Customers will also have access to a sani-station upon arrival.
Open during regular shop hours. We welcome clients with bookings to now arrive early for a pre service drink or a post service drink while maintaining social distancing rules.
